Sold OutI came across these two large pine bookcases at an antique fair in the south of England, and I fell in love instantly. Their graceful proportions, generous dimensions, and the refined moulding along the top give these pieces a quiet authority and timeless charm.
At present, I have images of only one bookcase, as the second is currently in our restoration workshop and will be ready soon. Both share the same elegant design, though the second piece is slightly smaller in height and length, while maintaining the same width.
Each bookcase features five adjustable shelves, all beautifully handcrafted in pine, offering ample and flexible storage while celebrating the natural warmth and texture of the wood.
A fine example of traditional craftsmanship, these bookcases embody the enduring spirit of classic English design—functional, honest, and full of character.

Designed by Gunni Omann and handcrafted by Axel Christiansen in Denmark during the 1960s, this long sideboard embodies the quiet authority and measured beauty of classic Danish modernism. Crafted from teakwood, its robust frame is softened by the natural warmth of the timber, where a vibrant, flowing grain lends depth and character, granting the piece a powerful yet composed presence.
The form is elevated by elegant, solid round legs, each adorned with a finely turned ring at the junction where body meets structure—a subtle but masterful detail that speaks of skilled hands and thoughtful design. Sliding doors move with calm precision, their long, organic handles shaped to rest naturally in the hand, reinforcing the harmony between function and form.
At its heart, a generous bank of drawers offers ample storage, making the sideboard as practical as it is refined. Rooted in tradition and built to endure, this is furniture conceived for a lifetime, carrying forward the enduring values of Danish craftsmanship.

Back Soon ReserveDesigned by Tom Robertson and patented by A.H. McIntosh in the 1960s for the Dunvegan collection, this double-extension dining table stands as a fine example of mid-century Scottish craftsmanship. Handcrafted in beautiful teak, it displays an outstanding grain, where organic shapes and gentle black streaks move across the surface, giving the wood a natural depth and quiet elegance.
The table is equipped with two folded extension leaves, discreetly stored beneath the main top. They are easily accessed by gently drawing the top towards each end; with the quiet grace of butterfly wings, the leaves unfold and lock seamlessly into place, extending the surface in a manner both fluid and assured.
Closed: 160 × 90 cm, height 74 cm
Each extension leaf: 38 × 90 cm
With one extension: 198 × 90 cm
Fully extended: 236 × 90 cm
