A large and beautifully practical bedside table designed and handcrafted by Turnidge of Kent in the 1960s. Made in richly grained teak, this tall and elegant piece offers remarkable versatility — featuring an upper display cabinet, a spacious cupboard, and a neatly fitted drawer, perfect for storing everything from books to small personal items.
Expertly constructed with Turnidge’s hallmark craftsmanship, it reflects the refined utility and enduring charm of British mid-century design. Both functional and graceful, it serves beautifully as a bedside companion, occasional cabinet, or compact storage piece in any interior.
There is a small mark on one side, which does not affect the integrity or stability of the piece. Please zoom in on the photographs to appreciate this minor imperfection, clearly shown in one of the images.

Large pine bookcase

I came across these two large pine bookcases at an antique fair in the south of England, and I fell in love instantly. Their graceful proportions, generous dimensions, and the refined moulding along the top give these pieces a quiet authority and timeless charm.
At present, I have images of only one bookcase, as the second is currently in our restoration workshop and will be ready soon. Both share the same elegant design, though the second piece is slightly smaller in height and length, while maintaining the same width.
Each bookcase features five adjustable shelves, all beautifully handcrafted in pine, offering ample and flexible storage while celebrating the natural warmth and texture of the wood.
A fine example of traditional craftsmanship, these bookcases embody the enduring spirit of classic English design—functional, honest, and full of character.

Handcrafted in Scotland in a stunning vibran teakwood with an impresive grain by A.H. McIntosh.
The sideboard has undergone a meticulous restoration and displays only two minor imperfections down the right long handle, which could not be removed during the process. This elegant piece features three spacious drawers on the left side, a centrally positioned double-door cabinet with a charming curved tray, and a bar cupboard on the right that includes a convenient pull-out tray.

Tom Robertson designed this drink cabinet for A.H. Macintosh in Scotland in the early ‘70s.
The cabinet is beautifully handcrafted in rosewood and conserves all its original features. It has two plain doors enclosing shelve and two drawers at the bottom, one of them lined up for the cutlery.
