    A striking Mid-Century tall sideboard designed by Tom Robertson and handcrafted in teakwood by renowned Scottish makers A.H. McIntosh during the early 1970s. This elegant cabinet showcases the beautiful grain and warm tones of teakwood, combined with the refined proportions and exceptional craftsmanship for which McIntosh furniture is celebrated.

    Behind its four beautifully matched doors, the sideboard offers generous storage with four spacious compartments, each fitted with a full-width shelf. The upper section features two smooth-running drawers, including a cutlery-lined drawer, adding practicality to its sophisticated design.

    The cabinet has been completely restored in our workshop. It has been carefully sanded and refinished to enhance the natural beauty of the teakwood, while all doors and drawers have been adjusted and serviced to ensure smooth operation.

    A superb example of British Mid-Century design, this versatile piece combines elegant form with excellent functionality, making it a perfect addition to a dining room, living space, or contemporary interior.

    An exceptional Danish dining table designed by Johannes Andersen and handcrafted in Denmark during the 1960s by Skovmand & Andersen A fine example of Scandinavian mid-century craftsmanship, this elegant table is beautifully constructed in richly grained teak, displaying the warm tones and natural character for which Danish furniture is renowned.

    The softly sculpted oval tabletop offers timeless elegance while concealing two extension leaves, that can be stored underneath the top of the table.

    A solid teak edge frames the tabletop, adding both strength and refinement while highlighting Johannes Andersen’s thoughtful attention to proportion and detail. The table can also be dismantled for easier transportation and installation.

    Our experienced restorers have completely restored this dining table, carefully preserving its original character while ensuring it is ready for many more decades of use. The teak has been professionally refinished to enhance the richness of the grain and provide a beautiful, durable finish.

    Mid-Century Danish Teak Desk (1960)

    A beautifully handcrafted freestanding desk made in Denmark during the mid-century period, showcasing the timeless elegance and exceptional craftsmanship for which Danish furniture is celebrated. Crafted from warm teak, the desk displays a vibrant, beautifully figured grain that gives each surface its own unique character.

    Designed to be admired from every angle, the desk features a bank of three drawers on the left-hand side, an open shelf beneath the writing surface, and an integrated bookshelf to the rear, making it equally suitable for use in the centre of a room as well as against a wall. The thoughtful layout offers practical storage while maintaining the clean, refined lines of classic Scandinavian design.

    When this desk arrived at our workshop, it was in poor condition. Our skilled restorers have carefully and sympathetically brought it back to an exceptional standard, preserving its original character while ensuring it is ready for many more years of use. During the restoration, a small number of veneer repairs were professionally carried out where sections of the original teak veneer were missing. The desktop also retains a few minor age-related marks, which are reflected in the price. We encourage you to zoom in on the photographs to appreciate these details.

    The desk has been fully restored, ensuring it is solid, functional, and ready for everyday use while retaining the beautiful patina and character that only a genuine vintage piece can offer.

    This exceptional set of six Wishbone Chairs (CH24) was designed by Hans J. Wegner, one of the most celebrated figures of Mid-Century Modern design, and handcrafted by Carl Hansen & Søn in Denmark in 2007.

    Finished in elegant black, these iconic dining chairs showcase Wegner’s timeless organic design, combining sculptural beauty, comfort, and outstanding craftsmanship. Each chair features the distinctive Y-shaped backrest and handwoven paper cord seat that have made the Wishbone Chair a design classic since its introduction in 1950.

    Having been in use for nearly 20 years, the chairs display age-related signs of wear consistent with careful everyday use. The solid wood frames remain structurally sound, tight, and sturdy throughout. The paper cord seats show some staining from use, and two sections of broken paper cord have been professionally replaced, ensuring continued functionality while preserving the chairs’ authentic character.
