In 1960, Herbert was honoured by the Furniture Makers’ Guild for his outstanding sideboards and tables, creations that helped define the elegance and refinement of British Mid-Century Modern furniture.

This rare dining table is one of those distinguished designs — a seldom-seen model that captures the quiet sophistication and architectural purity for which Herbert became renowned. Crafted in richly figured teak, the table features a stunning one-piece top with an exceptional flowing grain pattern.
