Large pine bookcase
1,200.00€ Add to cartLarge pine bookcase
I came across these two large pine bookcases at an antique fair in the south of England, and I fell in love instantly. Their graceful proportions, generous dimensions, and the refined moulding along the top give these pieces a quiet authority and timeless charm.
At present, I have images of only one bookcase, as the second is currently in our restoration workshop and will be ready soon. Both share the same elegant design, though the second piece is slightly smaller in height and length, while maintaining the same width.
Each bookcase features five adjustable shelves, all beautifully handcrafted in pine, offering ample and flexible storage while celebrating the natural warmth and texture of the wood.
A fine example of traditional craftsmanship, these bookcases embody the enduring spirit of classic English design—functional, honest, and full of character.

This rare and distinguished sideboard was designed by Tom Robertson and handcrafted in the 1960s by A.H. What makes this particular piece truly exceptional is its walnut veneer, a highly unusual choice for this model, lending it a warmer tone and richer grain than the more commonly seen teak examples.
The sideboard is composed of three distinct sections: on the right, a drinks cabinet with ample space for bottles and a pull-out tray lined with melamine—providing a practical, waterproof surface for cocktail preparation; at its centre, a double-door cupboard offering generous storage; and on the left, a bank of three drawers, the top one neatly fitted for cutlery.

1,100.00€ Read moreDouble extending dining table (By McIntosh)
A grand extending dining table designed by Tom Robertson in the 1960s, masterfully handcrafted in warm, richly grained teak by the esteemed Scottish maker A.H. McIntosh. Created for the celebrated Dunvegan collection, this piece embodies the elegance and practicality of mid-century design, uniting timeless craftsmanship with graceful modern lines.
The table is distinguished by its patented double-extension system. Ingeniously crafted, the leaves are neatly stored beneath the main top and brought into place with ease, unfolding in a smooth, butterfly-like motion. This design not only preserves the table’s clean silhouette but also offers generous flexibility, transforming it effortlessly to accommodate larger gatherings.
The table has been completely restored, reviving the warmth and depth of its fine teak surface. However, there remain some small marks along one of the central edges that could not be entirely removed. We kindly invite you to zoom into the photographs to appreciate these details, and a video can also be provided for clarity. The rest of the piece is in very good condition, a testament to the quality of its craftsmanship and careful restoration.
In light of this minor imperfection, the table is offered at a reduced price, making it a rare opportunity to acquire a distinguished piece of Scottish mid-century design at this exceptional value.
