English sideboard from the 60s made of walnut with black bakelite handles.

It is divided into 3 modules: a lower one with two sliding doors, an upper right module with drawers, and an upper left module with a hinged door.

Its dimensions make it perfect both for large spaces, where you want to focus attention on a Mid-Century piece, and for smaller interiors, where, in addition to exploiting its stylistic potential, it provides a large storage space.

Aparador de teca diseñado por la marca inglesa BCM, un pequeño pero reconocido taller de ebanistería de los años 50 del Reino Unido localizado en la ciudad de Bath.

El aparador retiene todas las características del diseño danés tan reconocido en la mitad del siglo XX. Sigue sus lineas rectas despojadas de adornos innecesarios.

Fabricado con una vibrante teca con algunas de sus aguas negras, detalle que crea contrates de luz y color, dotando a este aparador de una gran presencia.

Teak sideboard by GPlan from the Brasilia collection designed by Victor B Wilkins around the 1960s in High Wycombe, UK.

Victor B Wilkins was the designer of the G-Plan brand, being recognized for two of his great collections, Fresco and Brasília. Both collections retained the great influence that Ib Kofod Larsen had exerted on Victor Wilkins.

This sideboard belongs to the Brasília collection and retains a stylized design, with minimalist lines. The curved handles add an organic touch to the sideboard. This sideboard is made up of a central module made up of 4 drawers, a bar cabinet on the right and a two-door cabinet on the left.

G-plan, under E Gomme, hired famed Danish designer K. Larsen to relaunch the brand with his Scandinavian-influenced creations.

G Plan is a furniture brand that is recognized for the high level of finishing detail and the great construction quality of its products.

Danish high sideboard manufactured in rosewood in the 60s with a great finish, the result of the work of Danish craftsmen.

With a minimalist line, with four sliding doors. The two central doors hide its beautiful bar, and the embedded handles help to ensure that nothing distracts us from the beauty of its wood.

It is distinguished from other sideboards by the imposing waters of the natural grain of the Brazilian rosewood.

Its interior in lemongrass and the mirror in the central part where it houses the bar area complete the design of this Mid-Century piece.

Its two side cabinets have shelves that can be adjusted in height.

In the lower part we find three drawers, which provide extra storage space to keep our interior space very organized.

This English teak sideboard brings us the successful duo of John Herbert as designer and A Younger Ltd as manufacturer.

The sideboard belongs to the well-known Sequence collection.

Made to be admired by the buyer, this sideboard will last at least another 50 years. Its dark African solid wood frame along with solid handles create a contrast to the walnut wood used for the drawers and cabinet giving it a stunning look.

A Younger Ltd was a high-quality British furniture manufacturer that led style and contemporary taste in the 50s, 60s, and 70s. Younger furniture was low volume, well made, and aimed at the top end of the market. Younger was amongst the first firms to make Scandinavian-style furniture in the fifties. A lot of its success was due to its award-winning designer, John Herbert. The A Younger label is often discretely located on the back of a drawer, as its designs were often retailed by small, up-market furniture shops who didn’t like makers to identify their pieces.

Its symmetry gives the sideboard an elegant look with beautiful solid organic handles.

Mid-Century sideboard in teak designed by renowned designer Johannes Andersen, one of the most active mid-century designers in Denmark.

The sideboard design is featured by symmetry, with a bank of 4 drawers n the center and two cupboards enclosed by sliding doors on each side. All were designed and handcrafted with the mastery of the Danish cabinetmakers of the time.

Johannes Andersen designed this sideboard in Denmark in the Mid-Century, being one of the most active designers from 1950 to 1970.

Andersen worked steadily for his own firm—as well as Swedish, Danish, and Norwegian companies such as Trensum, CFC Silkeborg, Bramin, and Uldum Møbelfabrik—until he closed his shop in his eighties. He passed away in 1991.

Mid-Century Danish sideboard in dark teak with rosewood interiors.

It consists of 4 sliding doors and three drawers at the bottom. The interior has a bar cabinet with a mirror and rosewood finishes.

All the furniture is made with great mastery, typical of designer furniture made in Denmark in the mid-20th century.

Mid-Century sideboard from the English brand Greaves & Thomas built in teak in the 60s.

Fascinating creation of the Scottish firm A.H. McIntosh manufactured in 1965 under the name Eden.

The structure is in high quality laminated teak wood.

The front features a set of three drawers (the upper one with compartments for cutlery) and a double door that reveals two replicated individual modules (except for the fixed shelf, which each has a different depth).

Finally, it is worth highlighting the stylized shapes of its handles, together with the frame of turned legs, joined by a thin crossbar, which raise the structure, cherries to give an outstanding score to this captivating design.

Wood Finish: All surfaces are sanded in a hand mechanic manner to avoid the use of chemical strippers and re-polished with high-quality oils to give a ‘good as new’ professional finish.

Aparador de teca de los años 60, diseñado por Tom Robertson en Escocia para la marca A.H. McIntosh Kirkcaldy.

Este modelo pertenece a la colección Edinburg or Eden de Tom Robertson para Mcintosh y es uno de los modelos que se realizaron entre los años 68 y 72.  Este aparador  se diferencia de la collection Dunvegan y Dunfermline en el largo, teniendo 228cm de largo y siendo el aparador mas largo que McIntosh realizo en mitad del siglo XX . La simetría de su diseño le dota de mucha presencia, con unos tiradores alargados que le convierten en una pieza elegante y con un diseño atemporal. Tiene muchas capacidad gracias a sus 6 cajones y su armario central.

El grano de la veta y el color avellana de su teca son un valor añadido. Es un modelo inusual de cruzarse en nuestro camino
