Teak Chest of drawers by Meredew

£900.00

Alphons Loebenstein, a German designer, was the main designer for Meredew in the Mid-Century. Loebenstein played a key role in persuading Fred Hard, the company’s current head, to move away from traditional designs and embrace modern aesthetics. He brought the Danish aesthetic to the firm.

The dressing table features all its original components. It has five drawers split into two rows. The mirror tilts and has two positions. It was handcrafted in a vibrant teakwood with a beautiful grain.
