mesa de cafe

The table is a wonderful example of the practical and elegant design principles of Danish furniture from the period. Its ingenious construction allows it to transform effortlessly from a low coffee table into a full-height dining table, making it an exceptionally versatile piece for modern interiors.

When closed, the table measures 140 × 60 cm and stands at 52 cm high, giving it the proportions of a generous coffee table. It incorporates two separate extensions, each measuring 140 × 23 cm, which can be raised to transform the table into a dining table measuring 140 × 106 cm and 70 cm high.

The two extensions can be used together, allowing you to choose the configuration that best suits your space and occasion. This makes the table equally useful for relaxed everyday living and entertaining.

The combination of its beautifully considered proportions, ingenious mechanism and understated Scandinavian aesthetic makes the VM 120 a particularly desirable example of 1950s Danish furniture design.
