This long sideboard was handcrafted in vibrant teakwood by the high-end cabinet maker Beithcraft Ltd. in the 1960s in Scotland.
The sideboard has plenty of storage space. It has a cupboard with a shelf on the left and right next to a bar compartment with a pull-out door. Three drawers and another cupboard on the left complete this sideboard.Beithcraft was one of Scotland’s most important and influential cabinet makers for many decades. He had in his design team some of the more relevant designers like Val Rossi, Frank Guille or Robin Day.

Esta mesa de comedor única, con dos extensiones una a cada lado, fue diseñada y fabricada magistralmente a mano en madera de teca en Dinamarca en los años 50 y 60. Cada diseñador agregó características únicas, desde darle forma a las piernas con formas geométricas hasta curvar los extremos para obtener formas más orgánicas. Si bien se pueden encontrar mesas similares en el mercado, cada una es una obra maestra de diseño único, que crea hermosas mesas largas con un sistema fácil de usar.
La mayoría de las mesascomparten las mismas características:
Fueron elaborados artesanalmente con marcos de madera maciza de teca para protegerlos del uso.
Las patas son fáciles de desmontar para su transporte.
Son una solución brillante para casas donde el acceso es estrecho.
Guardan las extensiones debajo de la tapa principal. Sólo tendrás que sacarlos de cada lado uno o dos a la vez para convertir tu mesa en una mesa grande o supergrande.
Esta mesa en particular tiene extremos ligeramente curvados y patas cilíndricas cónicas.El color de las extensiones es ligeramente más oscuro que el de la parte superior principal ya que no han estado expuestas a la misma cantidad de luz solar.

Tom Robertson designed this sideboard for the Moy collection in the ’60s for A.H. McIntosh in Scotland.
Please remember the following description:
“This sideboard is a smaller version of the successful Dunvegan model from the 1960s and is still popular today. The McIntosh collection remains a best-seller. This version does not include the bar cabinet and continues to feature elongated, organically shaped handles, making it highly sought after. It retains three drawers on the left, with the first designed for organizing cutlery. The cabinet is closed by two symmetrical doors and contains a sinuous-shaped tray, storing objects of different heights.”
The sideboard made of teak wood has a grain characterized by the beauty of the water that forms its grain and the dark highlights that teak gives.

Everest’s designs are a constant source of surprise, consistently pushing the boundaries of boldness and innovation. Drawing inspiration from the exact characteristics of Scandinavian designs, they infuse their products with unexpected organic features.
In our search, we discovered that Everest employed Andrew Milne, a talented designer who worked for Heals in the ’60s and signed some of the company’s best pieces.The cabinet we are offering is a beautifully handcrafted drink sideboard made from vibrant teak wood. It retains all of its original features, including the stunning shaped handles, the bar compartment, and its useful drawers with built-in handles.

From Tacchini website “Moon is an armchair with a uniquely curvaceous and dynamic shape. The special production process creates a swivelling polyurethane shell that forms a single body with the covering, to give a seat that represents the perfect combination of design and technical skill”.
The pair is in excellent original condition with minor marks on the leather edges or in the shell. The pictures provide a close-up view of the marks for transparency. While the white leather appears clean, it may show slight shadows of use because of its color. The chairs spin in perfect condition too.

Alphons Loebenstein, a German designer, was the main designer for Meredew in the Mid-Century. Loebenstein played a key role in persuading Fred Hard, the company’s current head, to move away from traditional designs and embrace modern aesthetics. He brought the Danish aesthetic to the firm.
The dressing table features all its original components. It has six drawers split into two rows. The mirror tilts and has two positions. It was handcrafted in a vibrant teakwood with a beautiful grain.
