The Pia Chair – A Masterpiece of Danish Minimalism

Inspired by the great design chairs of its time, Cadovius sought to create a piece that was both physically and visually “petite,” adhering to the less is more philosophy. Its conical solid wood legs lend a delicate yet sturdy presence, enhanced by two exquisite details: hand-sanded roundings at the top of the back legs and meticulously finger-joined front legs. The seat, woven by hand from natural rattan cord, takes hours to complete—an intricate process requiring both patience and precision. A gently molded backrest ensures optimal support, making the Pia Chair as comfortable as it is visually striking.

In our restoration workshop, we added an extra feature to the bedside tables: a hanging bar with three holes that allow you to hang them directly to the wall without using the leg.
The bedside tables always need to add a screw to the wall to avoid tilt.
