This pair of armchairs was designed by Yngve Ekström and beautifully handcrafted in the late ’50s for the high-end cabinet makers Gemla Fabrikers AB Diö in Sweden.
The chairs are handcrafted in solid oak and feature a fine extra armrest made of teakwood with a beautiful, vibrant grain.

The chairs are completely restored and have new upholstery made of white woolly fabric.

Although we cannot affirm that it is an original piece, since it lacks a signature, this armchair follows the particular lines of Sergio Ramírez’s design.

The armchair is made of oak and black leather.

The peculiarity of this design is focused on how it leaves the seat exposed, as shown in the photos; Making this piece super comfortable, both for long talks and for a good rainy afternoon reading a book.

The wood has been restored both structurally and at the finishing level. The seat fabric is in good condition but has some marks as shown in a photo, they do not affect its use.

Pair of Cees Braakman Mid-Century Danish Armchairs.

Cees Braakman designed this armchair in Denmark in the ’60s. They were handcrafted in teak and with their original blue vinyl.

These armchairs, made of teak, retain their original upholstery because it is in very good condition and only has a few minor scratches that do not affect its use.

In the same way, we offer the possibility of reupholstering them so that they look like the first day.

An expert upholsterer would carry out the upholstery work, costing 350 €. Do not hesitate to contact us if you want us to change the original upholstery on these Mid-Century pieces.

Lucían Ercolani designed this beautiful armchair in the ‘60s in England. The lounge chair beautifully Ercol Longe Chair 427 With Armrest) handcrafted in elm wood.
The lounge chair has all the straps new, made from rubber following the standards Ercol used in the ‘60s.
The elm wood has been sanded and repolished with an extra transparent varnish from the Italian brand Renner to leave the natural colour of the elm wood.

We have in stock two lounge chairs and five of the model 427 no armrest.
